Christian Bale SHOCK: Batman star is UNRECOGNISABLE after weight gain for Dick Cheney film

The 43-year-old star is known for his body changes when preparing for Hollywood roles.

From starving himself for The Machinist to bulking up the muscle for The Dark Knight trilogy, Bale has done it all.

Now he’s piling on the pounds to play former Vice-President Dick Cheney in Adam McKay’s new biopic.

The actor was spotted this week at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he was basically unrecognisable.

Earlier this year Matthew McConaughey spoke out on his weight gain for Gold, something he really enjoyed doing.
