Edge-to-edge introduction

Tim Cook and Phil Schiller introduced the iPhone X, leading off with the striking, edge-to-edge display. Look closely, and you’ll notice that there’s no longer a home button. You just tap the screen to wake it up, or swipe up to go home.

Face ID

With that powerful new camera on the front, the iPhone X can map out your face, remember it, and then use it to identify you when you’re unlocking the phone or buying something using Apple Pay. Apple says that it’s even more secure than the fingerprint-scanning Touch ID.
