Queen Letizia of Spain before and after: Stunning royal then and now, how has she changed?

Queen Letizia of Spain, 44, is a mother of two, and the wife of the monarch of Spain.

She was recently pictured on the school run, taking her two daughters Leonor, 11, and Sofia, 10, to school.

Throwback pictures of the Spanish beauty show how the royal has changed over the years.

The Queen revealed she had undergone facial surgery in 2008, although the Palace informed the public that the operation was to help a respiratory problem.

In October 2016 the royal’s sister spoke out against rumours that Letizia has undergone Botox.

Telma Ortiz Rocasolano told Spanish publication Vida y Estilo: “Letizia is already by nature a very beautiful woman. She knows that plastic surgery is something that would only hurt, something you do not need.”

She added that Letizia “completely rejects Botox treatments.”

Dr Rita Rakus, 20 years of Aesthetic medical experience, commented on Queen Letitia’s changing image, giving her expert opinion exclusively to Express.co.uk.

The beauty expert claimed the royal is “ageing gracefully and is naturally beautiful.”

She said: “Over the years Queen Letizia’s face has become naturally slimmer with age, this has emphasised her jawline and given her features a sharper appearance.

“Nothing seems to have been surgically altered or enhanced.”

Letizia has clearly paid keen attention to her skincare regimen over the years, the beauty expert claimed.

She said: “Queen Letizia’s porcelain complexion shows that she understands the damaging impact of UV rays and takes steps to protect her skin from the sun.

“A life full of public engagements and a ‘need to be seen to be believed’ mean that Queen Letizia will often be unable to seek out shade and avoid the harsh Spanish sun so I suspect a high factor SPF is a daily essential.

“SPF protection could also accompany gentle resurfacing treatments to give a youthful glow to her skin and combat the ageing impact UV rays have on the skin.”

Leitzia was recently pictured wearing an elegant monochrome dress, flashing her toned pins, at the Museo del Prado in Madrid.
