Kane better than Lukaku
07:23: Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku may win the golden boot this season but he’s not as good a finisher as Harry Kane, believes Michael Owen.
Lukaku scored his fourth goal of the season in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw at Stoke yesterday.
However, he missed a sitter with 10 minutes remaining, firing over an Anthony Martial cross.
Kane, meanwhile, bagged a double to bring up his 100th goal for Tottenham in the 3-0 win over Everton.

His second goal was similar to the effort Lukaku missed, with Kane side-footing a cross from the wing into the net.
And Owen believes the England striker has a better eye for goal than United’s £75million summer signing Lukaku.
On Kane’s goal he told BT Sport: “It’s one of those that people look at and think it’s a normal goal.
“Well, try doing it.
“Lukaku tried it and hit it over the bar.
“We were discussing about Rashford and Lukaku who were debating who was the best finisher (at United).
“Lukaku is a decent finisher but I’d still say, even if he ends up with the golden boot, that there are better finishers in the Premier League than Lukaku and Kane is one of them.”
Antoine Griezmann plans
06:00: Manchester United have reportedly left their No.7 shirt free for a major signing – and put aside £100million in order to land Antoine Griezmann.
United tried to sign Griezmann in the last window, but the Frenchman committed his future to Atletico Madrid.
And according to the Star on Sunday, Griezmann remains high on Jose Mourinho’s wishlist.
The report says the No.7 shirt has been left for Griezmann as he would add commercial value to the club were he to join.
Thomas Lemar swoop
05:30: Manchester United will challenge Arsenal with a January move for Thomas Lemar, according to reports.
Arsenal were in the hunt for Monaco star Lemar over the summer.
On deadline day, they submitted a £92million bid for the 21-year-old who ended up snubbing a move to the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger was desperately scrambling for a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who came close to joining Manchester City.
And according to the Sunday Mirror, United have now set their sights on signing Lemar.
The report suggests the player’s advisors have been informed Mourinho is keen to bring him to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho on Nemanja Matic
05:00: Jose Mourinho believes he hasn’t coached players better than Manchester United star Nemanja Matic.
Mourinho has worked with may a great player during his spells in charge of the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid.
But few, he reckons, are at Matic’s level.
“Matic, I cannot say that I had better guys than him in my career,” Mourinho told The Times.
“He was one of ‘my guys’, was one of the guys that we kept close during these years even not working together. So I know that the big man is there, even with more maturity.”
