LA Noire Nintendo Switch REVEALED: Could Rockstar blockbuster pave the way for GTA 5?

GTA 5 developer Rockstar is bringing one of its blockbuster releases to the Nintendo Switch games list.

, LA Noire has been announced for the new Nintendo device.

Perhaps paving the way for a Nintendo Switch port of Grand Theft Auto 5, LA Noire has been given a November 14 release date.

The Nintendo Switch port will contain the original game and DLC, plus new control schemes.

“L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch features the complete original game and all additional downloadable content,” Rockstar explains.

“With specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.”

And it’s not just Nintendo Switch that will welcome the new and improved LA Noire.

L.A Noire is also coming to PS4 and Xbox One, while HTC Vive is getting a virtual reality spinoff.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions come with improved visuals, as well as new camera angles, DLC and more.

“L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high resolution textures and more.

“Plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, these versions capture the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.”

LA Noire: The VR Case Files, on the other hand, contains seven cases that have been repurposed for virtual reality.

Rockstar describes it as an “unprecedented interactive experience”.

“L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive delivers seven of the original engrossing, self-contained cases from L.A. Noire rebuilt specifically for virtual reality, blending breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience,” Rockstar reveals.

Players will be able to take notes, manipulate clues, open doors and drive in first-person VR.

The PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and HTC Vive versions have been given a November 14 release date.
