Xbox One X NEWS: Microsoft to land killer blow to Sony’s PS4 Pro?

Xbox One X sales might not be as high as Microsoft has suggested, but it is expected to strike a blow to the PS4 Pro.

Industry analyst Michael Pachter believes the Xbox One X will sell 1 million this holiday season and will outsell the PS4 Pro.

“My estimate is 1 million global units at holiday,” he told Twitter followers. “Don’t ‘want’ it to fail, think that is the right number. 1 million is not a huge success.”

But while the number may not represent a huge success, Pachter thinks it will still outsell the PS4 Pro.

Asked if he thinks it will outsell the PS4 Pro, Pachter said: “The Pro, yes, the PS4, no.”

The news comes as Microsoft announces plans to bring mouse and keyboard support to Xbox One soon.

Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra told Windows Central that the company will give players and studios the choice when it comes to how to use the feature.

Developers will be able to decide whether or not to include it, while players can choose to play against users with mouse and keyboards, controllers, or both.

“We’ll leave it a lot up to developer choice. A lot of people tweet me and say ‘you can’t do this because of fairness,’ and we understand that. We run two platforms; the Xbox platform, and the Windows platform.

“And so, when we bring keyboard and mouse, we’ll coach developers and say look, you’ve got to think about your multiplayer pools, if you have a competitive game, people are probably going to want the choice to say I’ll play with other keyboard and mouse people or I’ll play only with controller people, or that I’ll play with any of those.”
