Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a couple in the spotlight with all eyes on their relationship after the Suits actress spoke to Vanity Fair this week.
The prince, 32, and his US-born girlfriend, 36, are rumoured to be approaching the next step in their relationship: marriage.
Engagement whispers have swirled around the pair since they first revealed their relationship last year.
Now, Coral the bookmakers have slashed the odds on when the pair will walk down the aisle.
Coral suspended betting on Prince Harry and Meghan announcing an engagement this year after being flooded with interest in the last 24 hours.
Before the firm made the decision, they were as short as 1-2 on the couple getting engaged in 2017.
They are now giving odds of 3-1 on the year of Prince Harry’s wedding being in 2019.
The odds for 2017 are 5-1.
Not stopping at just the wedding, the firm is also taking bets on when the couple will announce they are having a baby.
Brits can get odds of 3-1 on Harry and Meghan announcing a new arrival by the end of 2018.
Meanwhile, in the Royal baby name betting, Alice remains the popular choice with punters at 7-1 for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new arrival.
Arthur is 10-1 and Victoria can be backed at 10-1.
“Not only have we got a Royal baby to look forward to in 2018, if the latest betting activity is anything to go by, we could also have a Royal wedding on the horizon.
“We have been flooded with bets on Meghan and Harry announcing they are engaged which has forced us to suspend betting,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Alice is proving a very popular choice with punters in the name of Kate and William’s third baby as over 70% of the bets we have taken so far have been for the girl’s name.”
