There are just weeks to go until fans finally get their last major look at Episode 8 before it hits the big screen in December.
All the excitement of Force Friday II and the various reveals in Empire Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and Vanity Fair – not to mention the behind-the-scenes teaser released at San Diego Comic-Con – will pale into insignificance next to the full-length trailer.
Will fans see Snoke in action or his Praetorian Guards? What about the Force ghosts of Anakin, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi?
One major Star Wars site has released the date in October it expects The Last Jedi trailer to be released.

Star Wars Youtube channel The Stupendous Wave is reporting that The Last Jedi trailer will arrive in six weeks.
The site said: “Recently it was announced that the final season for Star Wars Rebels would premier on October 16, which is a Monday and has never happened before as all season premiers for the series have been on Saturdays.
“This likely means that on the 16th there will be a huge marketing push for the Last Jedi as Disney begins the final stages of marketing across all of their platforms.”
The site also cited as further evidence the previous pattern of trailers and all marketing for The Force Awaken and The Last Jedi, which have mirrored each other perfectly up to this point.
The first teaser trailer for both films was released in the April of the relevant year (2015 and 2017), followed by Vanity Fair covers and major features in the May.
Behind-the-scenes sizzle reels were released in the July and Entertainment Weekly special editions in the August.
The Force Awakens unleashed its final main trailer in October 2015, so it seems extremely likely The Last Jedi will follow suit. But on which day precisely?
The Force Awakens trailer was released on October 19, 2015, which was a Monday.
The launch of Star Wars Rebels moving to a Monday, October 16, seems a huge clue that this will coincide with The Last Jedi trailer.
The Stupendous Wave also points out that a major American Football game will televised the same evening, with an enormous built-in audience perfectly in place for maximum exposure.
