Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs Apple iPhone 7 Plus – One of these just suffered a SHOCK defeat

new Galaxy Note 8 flagship was revealed late last month and is due to land in shops in the coming weeks.

Featuring a stunning 6.3-inch curved Infinity display, wireless charging, upgraded S Pen and new dual-lens cameras, it certainly has a lot going for it.

Samsung has also increased things under the hood with a new processor and a mighty 6GB of RAM making this one of the most powerful smartphones on the market.

So, how does all this power compare to iPhone 7? A device which is now almost one year old.

The iPhone 7 Plus is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip which has managed to beat rival Android devices before.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

But with Samsung’s Galaxy Note featuring the very latest tech it would seem obvious for this phablet to take first prize for speed.

To see how they compare YouTube account EverythingApplePro has devised a speed test to pit the smartphone rivals against one another.

Both smartphones have to open a succession of mobile apps open after another.

The prominent YouTube video-maker also performs a number of quick tasks within certain apps like, for example, exporting an identical video project in VideoShop.

So who came out on top?

Incredibly, the iPhone 7 Plus powers through the first round of apps in three minutes 21 seconds.

It takes the Galaxy S8 a staggering five minutes six seconds to complete the same task.

That’s just under twice the amount of time.

YOU CAN WATCH THE TEST BELOW

Fortunately, Samsung Note 8 owners will be unlikely to notice this drop in speed during day-to-day usage.

The Galaxy Note 8 either matches – or outperforms – the iPhone 7 when loading single apps, like popular social network Snapchat, the Camera, or lightweight mobile game, including Super Mario Run.

In fact, it’s only when faced with crunching a monstrous video file, like the project in VideoShop, that any discernible disparity between performance appears.

The video test caused some controversy on YouTube.

One user said: “Note 8 won in the individual app opening .. That’s what we use everyday..we don’t open 15to20 apps in just a minute.”

While another added: “This guy is fake…he was doing everything slowly with the Galaxy Note 8!…He just wanted iPhone to win!”

Do you agree with the test result? Has it changed your mind about what phone you want to own next? Let us know below.
