Rolly Pezo Morales has already losed his left eye after the bull’s horn went straight through the socket during a festival in Cotabambas.
But doctors have detected fragments of bone in his skull and the only hospital which has the expertise to perform the very complicated operation is 1,000 kilometres in Peru.

They say they are both literally sitting on the end of their phones to take people’s calls.
He is curently in hospital in Cotabambas and is said to be in a very serious condition.
Rolly as he is known was floored by the bull in front of his home crowd and immediately rushed to the intensive care unit of the local Cuzco hospital.
His family say doctors there do not have the expertise to open up his skull and remove the bone fragments. They have described the situation as “desperate” and at this stage, have no idea how much it will cost though the final bill will undoubtedly run into many thousands of euros.
He would have to be transferred by plane to Lima because the journey across land would take about 21 hours and the roads are too rough to ensure his safety.
The bullfighter’s plight is being followed by Peru bullfighting site, www.perutoros.com and a Twitter site of twitter.com/hashtag/fuerzaRollyPezo?src=hash has been set up.
