North Korea is preparing to test more ballistic missiles after despot leader Kim Jong-un tested a nuclear weapon over the weekend, according to South Korea.
John Bolton, a former US ambassador to the UN, has warned there is no longer a diplomatic option to stop North Korea from starting World War 3, adding South Korea overthrowing the hermit nation’s dictator is the only option left.
On Sunday, Pyongyang released information, claiming it had successfully tested a powerful hydrogen bomb capable of being loaded on to an intercontinental ballistic missile.
The hermit nation said the test was a “perfect success”, leaving their South Korean neighbours to call for the “strongest possible” response to “completely isolate” the Kim regime globally.
Speaking to Fox News, Mr Bolton said: “I think the only diplomatic option left is to end the regime in North Korea by effectively having the South take it over.

“Anyone who thinks more diplomacy, with North Korea, or sanctions, whether against North Korea or China is just giving North Korea more time to increase its nuclear arsenal, increase its ballistic missile capability, increase the accuracy of its guidance systems and put the US, South Korea and Japan in more jeopardy.
“We have fooled around with North Korea for 25 years and fooling around is just going to make things worse.”
United States President Donald Trump left all options on the table when he was asked if he would react with military force to North Korea’s latest weapons test, telling reporters: “We’ll see.”
However, Mr Trump’s Secretary of Defence, General James Mattis insisted the White House was exploring “many military options” should North Korea continue its threat to develop as a nuclear threat.
General Mattis said: “Our commitment among the allies are ironclad. Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming.
“We are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said we have many options to do so.”
South Korea responded to Kim Jong-un’s tests with a military simulation on the Kim regime’s nuclear test site.
The army and air force drills, held in a secretive location on Monday, involved launching ballistic missiles in the direction as North Korea and its Punggye-ri test facility.
