American meteorologists have started monitoring a new storm brewing in the Atlantic Ocean.
Commenting on the terrifying footage, forecaster Bobby Deskins from 10News said: “This thing is actually ramping up quickly.
“The eye diameter is about 12 miles wide, but high winds are right there around the centre.”
Hurricane Irma was upgraded to a Category 3 storm late Thursday afternoon, making it the second biggest storm of the season after the devastating Hurricane Harvey.
Category 3 storms can cause serious damage to property, people, and animals.

According to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC), Irma quickly transformed from a tropical storm to a Category 2 hurricane before being upgraded again on Thursday evening.
The NHC said: “Fluctuations in strength, up or down, are possible during the next few days, but Irma is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through the weekend.”
Last week, the state of Texas was battered by strong wind and rains brought in by Hurricane Harvey.
39 people died after Harvey hit the southern state late on Friday as a Category 4 hurricane with winds of 130 miles per hour, making it the strongest storm to strike Texas since 1961.
President Donald Trump, facing the first big natural disaster of his term, signed a disaster proclamation and met with his cabinet and staff to discuss the federal reaction to the storm, according to a White House statement.
