Xbox One Backwards Compatibility adds THREE games in major update

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility just added three classic games to the list.

Xbox One owners can now play Xbox 360 versions of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series, The Walking Dead: Season 2 and The Walking Dead: Michonne.

Season one of The Walking Dead is the most popular of the new additions, receiving nearly 8.5k votes from fans.

This was closely followed by Season Two, which racked up 6,197 votes.

But it’s a far cry from the most popular game on the Backwards Compatibility fan list, which is currently topped by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with 184k votes.

The highly-rated Walking Dead games let players make choices that can potentially alter the storyline and change the way characters behave around you.

“Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead,” reads the official description.

“Experience events, meet people and visit locations that foreshadow the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. A tailored game experience – actions, choices and decisions you make will affect how your story plays out across the entire series.”

Season Two takes the series in a new direction, while the Michonne spinoff focuses on the popular character from the comic books and TV series.

The first episode in both seasons can be downloaded for free, while remaining episodes are available for £3.99 each, or as part of an £11.99 season pass.

The Michonne spinoff only has three episodes, which are available for £3.99 each, or £10.39 for the lot.
