Rey’s flashback – or Force back – in The Force Awakens was one of the most intriguing scenes in the whole movie.
Following rumours that The Last Jedi will be Force-back heavy, a supposed leak featuring new details on such scenes has appeared on 4chan and Reddit.
Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh revealed: “There are a few Force-backs in The Last Jedi, longer than the ones in The Force Awakens.
He continued: “[The] first happens to Rey. She sees herself saying goodbye to who we assume is her father, going on to a ship with her mom.
“The man who you think is her dad, is wearing a Rebel pilot uniform, like Luke wore on Hoth or in Star Wars [A New Hope].
“She sees a stone hallway with a young boy standing at the end of it crying. The hallway explodes, as the Knights of Ren destroy it. Sounds of murder. The same boy crying continues and some echo screams behind.
“Kylo Ren comes into the scene in his The Force Awakens get up. Briefly see Snoke in the flesh…Luke [is] mediating at one point…on Tatooine hearing the words of Obi-Wan giving the twisted and evil speech.
Zeroh added: “He sees the funeral pyre where he burnt his father [Darth Vader] on Endor. Construction on the Temple with Leia holding a baby…few happy moments with a young Ben.
“Then the attack on his temple. Old Luke is shown visibly discomforted, but he continues his meditation. You see a younger Luke, angry, seeing the rubble of the temple. He sets fire to it himself. He gives something to R2-D2 before leaving.
“We see an X-Wing fly towards Ahch-To, then a somewhat young Luke – still old but younger than Hamill in pictures so far – walking up the steps like Rey did.”
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
