The clown will take over London’s Peckhamplex cinema – renamed Pennyplex for these select screenings.
Express.co.uk understands that at various points during the film, in time with the scares that take place on-screen, audiences will see their own tricks and illusions.
Some will be subtle, while others will see Pennywise himself unleashed.
The experience, bosses warn, is “not for the faint of heart”.
It seems that It will be terrifying even without the “Upgrade” option at Peckhamplex – with early buzz for the film coming back very positive.

Director Andy Muschietti recently spoke about the iconic opening to the story, in which six-year-old boy Georgie is brutally murdered.
“Well, the Georgie death is pretty gruesome,” he told Collider.
Asked how he approached it, he added: “In this story, there is no confirmation that Georgie is dead.
“He’s attacked by Pennywise, and he’s missing an arm, and he tries to get away from the sewer, like he’s dragged into it again, leaving a trail of blood, but his body is never found.
“And that’s what prompts Bill, that’s basically Bill’s motivation in the story, is finding Georgie alive.”
It is out on September 8.
