Samsung has just revealed the latest smartwatch to join its ever-growing range of wearables.
The all-new Gear Sport is aimed squarely at the fitness market with the device packed with features to help improve your daily workout.
The Gear Sport has just been announced at the IFA technology show in Berlin with Samsung boasting that it is “designed to help consumers of varying fitness levels meet their goals and aspirations.”
The Gear Sport now features a improved water resistance and, like the Apple Watch, can monitor your daily swim in the pool.
It also has automatic exercise recognition so it can detect what activity you are up and instantly record every step, run or bike ride.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Plus improved heart rate monitoring gives a better overall view of your health.
To view all of this data is a 1.2-inch Circular Super AMOLED always-on display which is powered by a Dual Core 1.0 GHz and 300mAh battery.
Samsung’s new Gear Sport can connect to any Android smartphone but also has the ability to link up to Apple’s iPhone as well.

Samsung has also unveiled its new Gear Fit2 at today’s launch event.
This fitbess band tracks a huge variety of workouts and is fitted a Super AMOLED curved 1.5-inch touchscreen display to the front of the band.
This widescreen touchscreen is used to start, pause and stop a workout. It also displays make real-time updates and notifications.
