Overwatch Season 5 of Competitive Play is about to end on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Blizzard has announced an August 28 end date and 5pm PDT end time for Competitive Season 5.
This is good news for UK fans, because the time difference means that Competitive Season 5 will end at 1am BST on August 29.
It’s likely the end will coincide with the conclusion of the Summer Games 2017 event.
And there’s not long to wait before the start of Competitive Season 6, which kicks off on August 31 at 5pm PDT, which equates to September 1 at 1am BST in the UK.

As for Overwatch Competitive Season 6, Blizzard is making big changes.
The biggest change is that the season won’t last anywhere near as long.
In a bid to make the action that little bit more exciting, Competitive Season 6 will only last for two months instead of three.
As game director Jeff Kaplan told fans, this will make it feel like less of a grind. Points will also be adjusted to account for the shorter season.
Blizzard is also addressing the issue some players have with skill decay and skill placement.
After artificially lowering skill placements to create a sense of progression, Blizzard will now place people at the appropriate levels from the start.
