Design and interiors have long been a big part of Michelle’s success, from the intricate design process of ‘the perfect bra’ with Ultimo, a jewellery range with QVC, to personally renovating the interiors of her own homes.
With the titles of entrepreneur, author and public speaker under her belt, Michelle has now launched her new business Michelle Mone Interiors.
Michelle knows the how the appearance of a home on the inside can impact its sale when it goes on the market.
Speaking to Express.co.uk she revealed her top home interior tips for homeowners looking for a quick and easy sale.
Michelle’s first tip is all to do with the colour of the inside of your home.
She said: “Be clever when choosing colours – go neutral, that will never go out of fashion.”
Her second tip is to make sure everything is in fully working order.
She said: “Always insure the ‘back-room’ is working, i.e. the plumbing, lighting – that’s where your effort and money should go. Infrastructure is so important.”
For those settled in their home, Michelle said a kitchen table is the one thing everyone needs to have inside their property.
She explained: “A kitchen table offers great friends and family gathering moments and is a great place or hub of ideas and communication.”
Michelle and her partner Douglas Barrowman are very proud of the space in their own home they have created together.

She said: “it is luxurious and has an elegant British theme throughout, hence our design vision but simultaneously homely and a fantastic place to entertain our family and friends.”
