Another person has been injured in the tragic accident, which occured on Mount Gabler in the Zillertal Alps in southern Austria.
The group are believed to have been tied together when they fell from the mountainside.
The incident took place at 2,000 metres above sea level below a glacier with a high chance of rockslides.
The deaths were confirmed by the Austrian Red Cross although no further details have been announced.
The nationality or nationalities of the climbers has not been disclosed.
