As he continues his visit in Scotland Jeremy Corbyn said the Tories were “on notice” at a Glasgow rally as people had been inspired by Labour’s strong campaign.
Despite Mr Corbyn not winning the election, he said the Labour Party had a “transformative manifesto” that people connected to across the country.
In a veiled swipe at Theresa May, Mr Corbyn said he would pick up the phone to President Donald Trump and tell him he was wrong on domestic and international policy if he were Prime Minister.
The Labour leader said it was “odd” for the US President to have strong links with big-profit earners like Turnberry luxury golf course.
Mr Corbyn’s words come after it emerged Mr Trump’s Ayrshire golf course enjoyed a £110,000 tax rebate, which was supposed to help struggling hospitality businesses.
The Labour leader said during his visit to Scotland that Glasgow needs more cash to fight poverty.
He is spending the day campaigning against job centre closures with unions as he criticised the Tories for “turning their backs on unemployed, sick and disabled people”.
The veteran leader called the job centre cuts “twisted logic”.
Mr Corbyn began his tour of marginal Scottish constituencies on Wednesday as he hopes to maintain the momentum built up during the election.
During his visit to Scotland, he said Labour would end the public sector pay cap and end austerity which had hit workers the hardest.
The veteran leader has recently said Mrs May’s government is doomed to collapse and there will be a fresh election “in the near future”.
