“The police are finally getting involved but it took him trying to kill a man before they took action,” he added, expressing his discontent with the authorities’ response time.
The injured worker, whose identity remains undisclosed, was near the compound’s garage when the intrusion occurred. He received immediate medical assistance.
Police Investigation and Release
Following the attack, authorities apprehended the suspect. However, according to the Romanian news outlet Gândul, the individual was later released after providing a vague explanation centered on “noise” and a “minor dispute.”
Second Attempt and Apprehension
Hours after being released, the alleged attacker returned to the compound shared by Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan. This time, security personnel intervened and prevented further access.
Tate’s Criticism of Romanian Police
Andrew Tate, 38, once again utilized social media to voice his frustration with the local law enforcement, alleging a lack of urgency in addressing the situation involving “men with machetes” at his home.
“The Romanian police will show up to my house fully armed to arrest my brother and I when the British foreign office told them to ‘get us off the internet.’ But they dont show up when men with machetes arrive with murderous intent,” Tate posted on X.
Arrest and Nationality of the Attacker
Reports indicate that police have since arrested the attacker, who is believed to be a Ukrainian national.
Tristan Tate’s Confirmation
Tristan Tate corroborated the details of the break-in and affirmed the attacker’s nationality.
“He came back to my house. I now can confirm this Ukranian national is not a neighbour of mine but his ‘loud construction noises’ excuse worked and he was still free until 5 minutes ago. He made a second attempt at whatever he was trying and was violently arrested,” the younger Tate shared on X.
Legal Challenges Faced by the Tate Brothers
The Tate brothers are currently facing numerous charges, including allegations of rape, physical harm, and human trafficking, in both Romania and the United Kingdom.
