Surprise! There Are More Wolf Statues To Smash Up In Doom: The Dark Ages' Kar'Thul Marshes

Importance Score: 20 / 100 🔵

Doom: The Dark Ages expands its gameplay with expansive, semi open-world environments, offering a richer, more explorable experience. “The Kar’Thul Marshes,” appearing as the fifteenth mission, stands as the third of these intricate levels, following “The Siege Part One” and “Ancestral Forge,” inviting players to delve into its secrets and objectives.

Unlocking Sorcerer and Knight Statues in Doom: The Dark Ages

Throughout your journey in Doom: The Dark Ages, discover numerous Sorcerer and Knight statues holding valuable jewel collectibles. Sorcerer statues conceal Wraithstones, while Knight statues safeguard Rubies. In the game’s semi open-world segments, barriers often enclose these statues, guarded by holographic wolf statues. To access these treasures, you must locate and destroy three wolf statues scattered within the mission using your shield.

In “The Kar’Thul Marshes,” the challenge is heightened with five wolf statues. Here’s where to find them:

Locate the sorcerer statue to the left of your starting point. After several skirmishes, you’ll find a gold-lined path leading to a small cove; the sorcerer statue, circled by the five wolves, awaits within.

Wolf Statue Locations in Kar’Thul Marshes

First Wolf Statue

You can find the initial wolf statue near your starting area. Advance forward and veer left; the statue will be visible at the cliff’s edge.

Second Wolf Statue

The second statue is close to the first. Continue a bit further to the left, across from the Battle Demon Toy collectible, and you’ll spot a cliff allowing you to drop down. The wolf statue resides at the bottom.

Third Wolf Statue

Progressing further left, you will eventually gather your first Relic Fragment. Adjacently, a large chunk of gold collectible marks the location of the third wolf statue, situated past a cliff.

Fourth Wolf Statue

The fourth statue is near the third. From the third statue, round the corner to engage in combat against tentacle demons near the back. The fourth wolf statue is set against a rock wall.

Fifth Wolf Statue

The fifth and final wolf statue is in the same chamber as the sorcerer statue behind the barrier. Upon entering, look to your right to spot the wolf statue further down the corridor.

Claiming Your Jewel in Doom: The Dark Ages

Once you’ve shattered all five wolf statues, the barrier around the Sorcerer statue will disappear. You’re then free to interact with the statue and acquire the Wraithstone, which you can use to enhance your arsenal, shield, and close-combat skills.
