Male Escort Testifies He Heard Sean “Diddy” Combs Assault Cassie
In a recent testimony, Daniel Phillip stated that on one occasion when Cassie Ventura didn’t immediately respond to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ call, Combs allegedly hurled a liquor bottle in her direction, seized her by the hair, and forcibly pulled her into the bedroom. Phillip testified, “She was screaming,” and from the adjacent room, “what I heard sounded like him striking her.” According to Phillip, he overheard Combs saying, “’I tell you to come here, you come here now, not later.’”
Fear of Intervention
Phillip conveyed that he was “terrified” and chose not to intervene during the purported incident.
Alleged Assault at New York Hotel
He further testified to purportedly overhearing what sounded like Combs attacking Cassie during a separate occurrence at the Essex House hotel in New York. According to Phillip, “I heard her yelling, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ someone was being slapped around and slammed around the room. And I looked around the corner and I saw Mr. Combs exit the hotel completely unclothed, possibly with only a towel.”
Cassie’s Reaction
Cassie then exited the room and sought solace by sitting on Phillip’s lap, he testified. “She essentially tried to assure me that ‘it’s OK’ and ‘I’ll be OK,’” Phillip continued. “And I responded, ‘It is not OK, and you need to seek assistance.’”
Plea for Help
“I attempted to convey to her that she was in genuine peril if she remained with him,” Phillip stated in his testimony.
Reasons for Not Contacting Authorities
When questioned by prosecutor Maureen Comey about why he didn’t alert the police, Phillip testified that he perceived Combs as “an individual with limitless power, and realistically, even if I were to go to the police, I might still end up being killed.”
