Street Fighter 6 Welcomes Elena as Final Year 2 Character
Since its debut, Street Fighter 6 has consistently expanded its roster through two years of downloadable content. While numerous beloved characters were present in the initial lineup, Capcom has delved into its expansive catalogue of martial artists to further enrich the selections featuring Ryu, Ken, Guile, and Chun-Li. Recently, Capcom unveiled that Elena, the concluding character for Year 2, will be joining the fray this June. This addition is sure to excite fans looking for fresh gameplay and strategic options in Street Fighter 6.
Elena Joins the Fight This June
As revealed almost a year ago, Street Fighter 6‘s Year 2 pass comprises M. Bison, Terry, Mai, and Elena. Originally slated for a spring release, Elena’s arrival was slightly postponed to the newly announced launch date of June 5. M. Bison is celebrated as one of the most renowned characters in the Street Fighter series, while Terry and Mai are guest combatants from the Fatal Fury franchise. Elena, a capoeira expert from Kenya, first appeared in Street Fighter III: New Generation. Subsequently, she has been featured in Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter X Tekken. Notably, she was absent from Street Fighter V, despite that installment receiving five seasons of six downloadable characters.
