Stephen Stagliano Seeks Child Support from Ex-Wife DeAnna Pappas Amid Custody Dispute
Stephen Stagliano, the former spouse of DeAnna Pappas, has reportedly filed a request to modify their child custody arrangement and is seeking financial support following Pappasās recent arrest in February. The former gaming company CEO is petitioning for monthly child support payments, citing a significant shift in his financial circumstances and current unemployment.
Stagliano Files for Child Support, Cites Lack of Income
According to court documents acquired by In Touch and submitted to the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15, Stagliano is requesting “$1,000 per month” in child support. He stated his request is due to having “no income” at this time.
In a “four-page income and expense declaration,” Stagliano detailed that his “financial situation has changed drastically” and he is “actively seeking employment.” He further claimed that Pappas, a flight attendant, earns an estimated $160,000 annually. Stagliano reported having $18,211 in bank accounts with monthly expenses totaling $7,907.39.
Allegations of Alcohol Use and Impact on Job Search
Stagliano, who was married to Pappas for eleven years, asserted, “As of April 2025, I have no income. I am actively seeking a job, and DeAnnaās consistently changing work schedule and her drinking habits have made it incredibly difficult to do so.ā It should be noted that Pappas has previously denied any issues with alcohol in prior legal filings. In his recent filing, Stagliano also requested that Pappas undergo āalcohol testing/monitored visits if indicated.ā
Us Weekly has reached out to Pappasās representative for comments on this matter.
Details Emerge Regarding February Arrest
Us confirmed DeAnna Pappas’s arrest in February following an altercation with Stagliano. The former Bachelorette and Stagliano share two children: an 11-year-old daughter, Addison, and a 9-year-old son, Austin. A statement shared on Pappasās Instagram Stories on April 3 maintained that “Ms. Pappas was not the aggressor” and that “no criminal charges were filed” in connection to the incident.
Ā
āIn the best interest of the minor children, Ms. Pappas voluntarily withdrew a temporary restraining order to facilitate a cooperative agreement, with the goal of shielding the children from prolonged conflict and public attention,ā the statement continued. āAny further attempts to misrepresent facts or interfere with the childrenās well-being will be addressed with appropriate legal action. Ms. Pappas remains dedicated to safeguarding her children from further distress and upholding their legal right to privacy.ā
She concluded by stating, āThis matter is proceeding appropriately through the legal system.ā
Pappas Alleges Physical Altercation Preceded Arrest
The incident leading to Pappasās February arrest reportedly occurred when Stagliano arrived to pick up their daughter. In a written declaration at the time, Pappas claimed her former husband refused to leave her garage, removed items, and then, when confronted, “forcefully shoved” her.
Pappas filed a restraining order against Stagliano on March 7, but her April 3 Instagram Story statement indicated she retracted this filing.
