Boat Capsizes Off St. Lucie Inlet; Search for Missing Persons Underway

Rescue Operation Details
Martin County Fire Rescue reported via social media platform X that the U.S. Coast Guard arrived at the scene of the capsized boat, situated 22 miles from the coastline, shortly before 10:00 AM. Rescuers located five passengers, confirming one death and airlifting four survivors for medical assessment.
Emergency units received the four casualties via helicopter at Stuart Airport.
Patient Condition
Of those transported, three sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while one individual suffered serious injuries and all were subsequently transferred to Cleveland South Hospital for comprehensive medical evaluation.
