FKA twigs Cancels Coachella Performance Due to Visa Issues

British musician FKA twigs has announced her withdrawal from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup, citing ongoing visa complications. The acclaimed artist was slated to perform at the highly anticipated music event in Indio, California, but revealed in April that she would be unable to appear.

Artist Expresses Disappointment Over Coachella Cancellation

In a message shared on Instagram, FKA twigs conveyed her regret at having to cancel her Coachella performance. “It pains me to say this,” she wrote, “because I am so excited to bring you a creation that I have poured my soul into and I believe is amongst my strongest work.” Despite her absence, the festival is set to proceed with a robust roster of performers.

Saturday’s Coachella Performances to Feature Diverse Lineup

The Saturday schedule at Coachella remains packed with notable acts, including rock veterans Weezer, pop sensation Charli XCX, punk icons The Misfits, hip-hop artist T-Pain, indie band Japanese Breakfast, and alternative rockers Jimmy Eat World, among others. For the second weekend of Coachella, Ed Sheeran is scheduled to substitute for Weezer during their original set time.

Sunday Lineup Completes Coachella Weekend

Adding to the festival’s diverse musical offerings, Sunday’s lineup will feature performances by electronic music producer Zedd, R&B artist Ty Dolla $ign, and country-trap singer Shaboozey, among other talented musicians.
