New Commander Shepard Statues Unveiled by Dark Horse Comics

Mass Effect fans can soon acquire detailed collectibles of the iconic Commander Shepard. In collaboration with BioWare, the studio behind the acclaimed game series, Dark Horse Comics has announced the release of two new statues. These premium figures represent the default male and female appearances of Commander Shepard from the original trilogy, allowing fans to own a definitive representation of their hero.

Detailed Commander Shepard Figures

Each figure, crafted from polyvinyl, measures approximately nine inches tall and showcases detailed sculpting and paintwork by Substance Model Works. The female Commander Shepard, Jane Shepard, is depicted wielding the powerful Carnifex pistol, a weapon favored by many Mass Effect enthusiasts. Conversely, the male Commander Shepard, John Shepard, is equipped with the standard-issue M-8 Avenger rifle and his signature omni-blade. These additions expand Dark Horse’s existing line of Mass Effect character figures.

Customization Options: Swappable Helmeted Heads

Recognizing that players often customize their Commander Shepard, these statues offer a unique feature. Both the male and female figures include exchangeable N7 helmeted heads. This allows collectors to display the iconic helmeted look, effectively enabling fans to envision their personal version of Shepard behind the mask.

Pre-Order and Release Information

Anticipated for release in February 2026, both Jane and John Shepard figures are currently available for pre-order. Each statue is priced at $69.99.
