Gamers can now experience seamless PC game streaming on their mobile devices with the official launch of Razer PC Remote Play. The newly released application enables streaming PC games at native resolutions, aspect ratios, and refresh rates, offering an immersive gaming experience. Razer PC Remote Play is accessible for download via the App Store and Google Play, and it supports a wide range of devices including Windows-based PCs and Apple and Android mobile devices that meet the minimum operating system requirements of Windows 11, iOS 18, and Android 14 respectively.

Setting Up Razer PC Remote Play

Razer PC Remote Play leverages the Moonlight streaming client and necessitates the installation of the Razer Cortex game launcher on the user’s PC. This updated game launcher, featuring a revamped interface, is compatible with popular gaming platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft’s PC Game Pass. On mobile devices, users will need to install both the Razer Nexus game launcher and the Razer PC Remote Play application.

Key Features of the Launch Version

Initially unveiled at CES 2025 and previously available in beta, Razer PC Remote Play now boasts several enhancements in its official release. According to Razer, the finalized application incorporates the AV1 video codec, designed to deliver enhanced visual fidelity and reduced latency for smoother game streaming. Furthermore, the application provides support for the Razer Kishi Ultra controller, alongside compatibility with all gamepads that are supported by iOS and Android operating systems.

Enhanced Haptics for Android Users

Users utilizing the Razer Kishi Ultra with Android devices can take advantage of Razer’s Sensa HD Haptics technology. This feature translates in-game audio into nuanced haptic feedback, utilizing the same hardware present in mobile devices that generates silent vibration alerts. This integration provides a more immersive and tactile gaming experience.

iPad Compatibility and Control Options

For users streaming PC games to iPads, the Razer PC Remote Play application offers complete compatibility with connected peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and trackpads. This comprehensive input support positions Apple’s tablets as a viable and effective platform for streaming and experiencing demanding game genres like first-person shooters, providing a desktop-like control scheme on a mobile device.
