Prince William Shares Special Moment with Prince George

Prior to the match, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, demonstrated his support for Aston Villa by greeting the players and coaches before the game. Aston Villa holds a special place for Prince William as his reportedly favorite team.

During an interview with TNT Sports, William expressed his delight in sharing the sporting experience with Prince George.

“Well, I’ve got my son here as well, so I’m on best behavior,” the future British monarch quipped when asked about his plans for the evening.

He further elaborated, “But I thought, it’s been 43 years since a moment like this has occurred in my lifetime as a Villa supporter, and I want George to experience a night out away from home at a major European competition.”

William and George also appeared anxious at times during the game as Paris Saint-Germain ultimately won.
Before the game, William spoke about spending quality time with his eldest child in a TNT Sports interview.

“I think those memories are truly important to create, and bringing him along tonight is significant for me,” William added, emphasizing the value of shared experiences.

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are also parents to Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

This exciting father-son soccer outing to Paris reportedly occurred during Prince George’s spring break from school, leading up to Easter.

Shared Passion for Aston Villa

Prince George, it seems, has inherited his father’s passion for soccer and, specifically, Aston Villa.

Last year, Prince William confirmed George’s allegiance to the team during a game in Birmingham, England, which they attended amidst Middleton’s cancer treatment.

When questioned by sports journalist Neil Moxley about whether the young heir was “part of the [Villa] pride,” Prince William affirmed, “Oh yes, he’s loving it.”
