Pete Wicks Unveils His “Perfect Companion” in Surprising Revelation

Reality TV personality Pete Wicks has identified his ideal partner following recent speculation about his romantic relationships, and the answer may surprise many. The former TOWIE star made headlines earlier this year amid reports of a split from Love Island contestant Maura Higgins.

Since the breakup rumours circulated, fans have eagerly followed updates on his love life, keen to discover who might be his perfect match. Now, the 37-year-old TV presenter has shared insights into his preferences in a candid interview with Express.co.uk. In collaboration with SMARTY Mobile, the podcast host declared that “all dogs could be the perfect companion”.

Wicks Champions Canine Companionship

The TV personality – a devoted owner of two French Bulldogs, Eric and Peggy – explained his perspective: “In my opinion, it’s all about finding the right fit. It’s similar to seeking a partner in life; you aim to find someone who complements you.”

He elaborated, “Often, the issue arises when individuals focus on specific breeds or traits that don’t necessarily align with their lifestyle.”

“For me,” Wicks asserted, “dogs are superior to people. They always have been and always will be. Their fundamental desire is love, and the affection they receive, they reciprocate tenfold.”

“Regarding rescue dogs, it’s remarkable how much affection they still possess, considering potential past hardships. But my love extends to all dogs, regardless of breed or whether they are rescues.”

“For Dog’s Sake” Returns for Second Season

This announcement follows the confirmation that Wicks will return as host for a second season of “For Dog’s Sake,” after the first series resonated with viewers last year.

An industry source told The Sun, “The program received excellent feedback during its initial broadcast earlier this year, and not solely due to Pete’s recent appearance on Strictly.”

“Many viewers drew comparisons between ‘For Dog’s Sake‘ and ‘For The Love of Dogs,’ suggesting he is a worthy successor to the late Paul O’Grady, the beloved presenter of the ITV program. Viewers clearly recognized Pete’s genuine affection for canines throughout the four-part series.”

Easter Bunny Transformation for Charity

This week, the reality star donned an Easter Bunny costume for his latest campaign with SMARTY Mobile. Pete looked characteristically stylish as he embraced the festive role, complete with iconic fluffy brown ears and a matching tail.

Maintaining his fashionable image, the TV personality chose a brown suit, worn over a white T-shirt and paired with polished black shoes.

Campaign Addresses “Chocflation” Concerns

His collaboration with the mobile network arose after research indicated widespread frustration among Britons regarding ‘chocflation’. The study revealed that 85 percent of consumers believe chocolate eggs have decreased in size, despite their willingness to spend an average of £5.70 on a branded egg.

Enthusiastically participating in the campaign, Wicks jokingly remarked while distributing eggs, “Did I need to dress as an Easter bunny for this? No. But I am very happy to bring smiles to people’s faces this Easter; who wouldn’t want a free chocolate egg?”
