These unprecedented biopics, featuring the same actors portraying each member of the iconic band, were initially planned for 2027 but will now debut the following year, according to an announcement from Sony Pictures at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Confirmed Cast for Beatles Biopics

The roster of A-list performers, long-rumored to be in contention, has been officially verified to depict the ‘Fab Four’ in each standalone movie – titled John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

  • Harris Dickinson (The King’s Man) will embody John Lennon
  • Paul Mescal (Gladiator II) will take on the role of Paul McCartney
  • Joseph Quinn (Fantastic Four) is set to portray George Harrison
  • Barry Keoghan (Saltburn) will step into the shoes of Ringo Starr

“Bingable Moment in Cinema” Promised

A promotional tagline revealed: “Each man has his own story, but together they are legendary. The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event. In cinemas April 2028.” All four movies are scheduled to premiere in April 2028, creating what Mendes described as the first “bingable moment in cinema“. The release order of the individual films remains undisclosed.
