Actress Danielle Brooks, a guest on the show at the time, also expressed her excitement about Usher’s scheduled appearance, affirming her intention to return to witness it, according to reports.
Disappointment as Usher Cancels
However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically on Friday, March 28th, as Alex Jones delivered the unfortunate announcement regarding Usher’s absence. She revealed to viewers that Usher was no longer able to appear on The One Show, much to the dismay of everyone involved. “Now, we said last night that Usher was gonna be here. JB is devastated because unfortunately, he couldn’t make it,” Alex explained, while JB Gill visibly displayed his disappointment.
