Ant and Dec's appearance on The One Show distracts fans as they all say same thing

Ant McPartlin left viewers all saying the same thing as he donned very colourful attire.

The Britain’s Got Talent host joined his co-star Declan Donnelly on the One Show as hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp addressed the duo’s Saturday Night Takeaway return.

But it wasn’t the news that the Geordio duo, both 48, admitting they plan to put the popular ITV show on hold for a while but instead Ant’s look which some said was very distracting.

He looked smart in a navy blue top paired with matching trousers and white trainers, however, he accompanied the attire with a multi-coloured cardigan which certainly stood out beside Dec’s more neutral colours.

@kirstybabyxo said: “Sorry @antanddec but the cardigan is giving Burger King employee style #TheOneShow #bbc1.”

@ironfoxuk quipped: “I see Ant has pinched me nans cardigan #antanddec #TheOneShow.”

“Good to see Ant’s Burger King partnership is alive and well #theoneshow,” @Crawford_Paton joked.

@Lorraine queried: “BTW I hope to God that Ants cardigan isn’t a political nod to anything.”

@bill said: “Ant’s cardigan [laughing emojis].”

But others applauded his look, as @humbug83 gushed: “I love Ant’s cardigan #theoneshow.”

Bursting into The One Show studio, Ant immediately asked host Alex Jones: “Be honest. Is this cardie too much?”

Alex replied: “No, I love it!” before she asked about ‘the elephant in the room’, being the last one for a while,” referring to the fact that this upcoming series of Saturday Night Takeaway will include their final show in the series for the foreseeable future.

The duo appeared on the programme to plug Saturday Night Takeaway, which sadly after more than 20 years, will be their last, at least for now.

Dec said: “Yes we’re going to give the show a little bit of a rest. It’s the 20th series and we felt like it was the ideal time to give the show a bit of a rest. We’ve done it before, back in 2009 we gave it a bit of a rest.

“And this feels like the right time, we’re getting a bit older, we need a little bit of time off. Because it’s such a year-round thing for us this show. We just need a little bit of a break from it.”

The presenting duo were joined by actor Ian McShane as viewers admitted they couldn’t believe the John Wick star’s real age.

@NLinnane tweeted: “Ian McShane looks great dosent look a day of 81 he looks better than most 45-year-olds #TheOneShow” while @Theatreluvvie12 said: “Ian McShane looks amazing for 81!”
