When autumn officially begins on September 23, it will mark the beginning of the period where nights draw in, days shorten, and weather worsens.
As the weather deteriorates, people are going to be more likely to stay inside and spend less time outside.
As a result, people will have more spare time and opportunities to do brainteasers and brain puzzles.
To mark the start of autumn, Betway has created this brainteaser where you have to spot the acorn among the autumn leaves.
Did you find the acorn? No worries if not, the answer is above. Only experts can spot the acorn in under 10 seconds.
The change in season comes after a colder-than-expected summer which didn’t see the return of heatwave temperatures until early September.
According to reports, the cooler summer has led to more people booking cruises this autumn.
According to TUI, the number of people booking autumn cruises has gone up by nine percent, and pushed prices up by 11 percent.
Speaking to the Independent, TUI said: “Poorer summer weather in the source markets has boosted bookings and demand in autumn at higher rates.”
Scottish travel agency chain, Barrhead Travel, added that one-third of all its new bookings are for winter 2023.
In a statement, the company’s president Jacquelin Dobson said: “It’s a clear indication that people are keen to make up for lost holidays – and escape some of the wet weather we’ve been seeing in the UK over the summer months.”
