6 university students expelled after ‘disgusting’ group masturbation celebration video goes viral

Santo Amaro University has expelled several students after footage of them went viral this week.

The ugly scenes saw male students from the futsal team sitting on the sidelines watching the women’s volleyball team with their pants around their ankles.

After the team won the volleyball championship at São Camilo University, the players stormed the court and appeared to perform a group masturbation celebration.

The half naked group of students paraded around the gym touching their genitalia as those in the stands looked on in disgust.

São Camilo University confirmed the incident originally took place in April, however footage of the moment went viral over the weekend.

The Santo Amaro University announced six students had been expelled this week, but did not name the students.

“Unisa, an institution with more than 55 years of history, vehemently repudiates this type of behaviour, completely antagonistic to its history and values,” the school said in a statement.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was asked about the footage and the incident ahead of a UN meeting in New York.

“A disgusting, unacceptable episode, the behaviour of young people who are at the university, who intend to be doctors and take care of people,” Santana said to reporters.

“I vehemently repudiate what happened. It is unacceptable for future doctors to act with such disrespect for women and civility.”

The Brazilian Ministry of Women slammed the disgusting scenes that unfolded and said moments like it must be dealt with by the law.

“Breaking centuries of a misogynistic culture is a constant task that requires a careful look at all types of gender-based violence,” it said in a statement.

“Attitudes like that of medical students at Unisa can never be normalised — they must be combatted with the rigor of the law.”

The São Paulo Civil Police have opened an investigation into the ugly incident.
