Coronation Street's Lauren Bolton 'homeless' after police arrest

Coronation Street’s Lauren Bolton (played by Cait Fitton) could be left without a roof over her head once again.

In recent scenes, the troubled teen made her return to Weatherfield with hopes of rekindling her romance with Max Turner (Paddy Bever).

However, her idea didn’t go according to plan when she discovered he’d been speaking to newcomer Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos).

This week, Lauren lets her jealousy take over as she trashes the salon in a fit of rage, only to be discovered by a horrified Max.

Although he promised to cover for her, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) clock a broken mirror and demand answers.

With the police showing up to arrest her on suspicion of causing criminal damage, it looks like Lauren’s future is at stake.

Official spoilers for the ITV soap reveal things are set to get worse for the teen, as it appears Max’s family have thrown her out.

As Max gets to work in the salon, his dad strongly advises him to stay well away from Lauren after the police incident.

Elsewhere, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) realises the situation Lauren is in and wants to help by contacting social services to organise accommodation.

However, when she insists that she’ll be able to sort it out herself, will the teen find herself back on the street?

If Lauren is to find herself without a roof over her head, it looks as though it won’t be for long, as the actress revealed she’s going to end up living in a flat with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

The soap star commented: “With moving in together, it’s going to be more of a brother and sister relationship but obviously it’s not going to be plain sailing, there will be quite a few bumps in the road.

When asked whether or not Lauren’s arrest is a wake-up call, with her father currently behind bars, Cait Fitton confessed it was.

She said: “I think it’s given her a taste of what her dad’s going through.

“It’s made her realise that the life she is currently living is a life that she doesn’t want for herself and is really disappointed by her behaviour.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm
