WWE legend and Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has revealed that not only has he gone eight months without alcohol but he has also lost more than 40 pounds.
Hogan said his recent health push started back on New Year’s after he ‘got sick and tired of being sick and tired of myself.’
‘It changed everything,’ the 70-year-old told TMZ. ‘I wasn’t eating late at night.
‘I wasn’t eating junk food anymore. I dropped like 40 pounds right away.’
Initially Hogan had intended to take only a short break from alcohol but that has turned into him going this entire year without a sip of booze.

Hogan spent years as one of the primary attractions and biggest starts in pro wrestling
He also shed some light on how heavy his drinking had been and how it would lead to late-night food binges that were taking a toll on both his physique and his joints.
Hogan also noted thathe isn’t sure how much longer his run without alcohol will last. He can see himself going back to drinking socially, but never returning to his old ways.
‘I would never drink daily, you know, like I did when I was wrestling,’ he said.
Hogan recently joined Joe Rogan’s podcast, where he revealed how drugs and alcohol have led to the early demise of many wrestlers once they retire.
His life now seems to be in a much better place, however. And the 70-year-old legend is finding it easier to keep up with his 45-year-old fiancee Sky Daily.
