Eamonn Holmes 'hasn't been' quizzed over Phillip Schofield's This Morning scandal

Eammon Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford are yet to be probed about Phillip Schofield’s This Morning scandal, despite the barrister’s report being published “very soon”.

Jane Mulcahy KC has not spoken to the presenting couple about what they know about Phillip’s affair, it has been reported.

Eamonn and Ruth hosted This Morning on Fridays for 15 years until they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in 2021.

Eamonn, 63, blasted Phillip’s affair on GB News when it was made public in May and the 61-year-old resigned from ITV.

The Northern Irish also broadcaster claimed Phillip created a “toxic” work environment and an “atmosphere”.

ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall ordered an investigation and said Phillip and the other man in question previously denied having a relationship.

This Morning host Holly Willoughby, 42, has been questioned by investigators but was not asked to surrender her phone, unlike ITV boss Kevin Lygo.

She wrote in a letter: “Phillip made assurances to us and his agency which he now acknowledges were untrue and we feel badly let down.”

According to The Sun, findings of the investigation are set to be published “very soon”.

Holly worked alongside Phillip for more than a decade, with the pair also hosting Dancing On Ice together.

She has continued to present This Morning following his shock exit, but she is currently on a summer break.
