A man jumped to his death from the 750 feet tall Deutsche Bank Center roof before plunging through the 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

The unnamed man was sliced in half before hitting the busy New York pavement outside the apartment complex where Jay-Z and Tom Brady own apartments. 

The incident occurred at the prestigious 80 Columbus Circle address in Midtown at 9:06pm according to police.  

‘The marquee cut him in half,’ a building employee told New York Daily News.

The man was dismembered with an arm found across the street, The New York Post reported.

A police officer at the scene told the Daily News that the man was wearing pajama bottoms, a print T-shirt and slippers.

However, the man is not believed to have been a guest at the hotel but understood to have taken a service elevator to the roof before jumping, police sources told The Post. 

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Glass and debris could be seen around the covered body which lay on the street outside the twin luxury glass tower building where apartments can sell for $19 million.

The New York Police Department told DailyMail.com that the victim’s identity was not yet known and that the investigation is still ongoing.
