Chelsea are advancing on two deals it has emerged, with talks between themselves and Brighton ‘moving’ for Moises Caicedo, whilst Inter Milan have tabled another bid for Romelu Lukaku.
Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to sign Caicedo this summer and has identified the Ecuador international as his top target to play alongside Enzo Fernandez. Brighton are hoping to receive a fee of £100m for the 21-year-old, though the Blues are pushing for a package in the region of £75m. Despite the gulf in valuations, Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations are now ‘moving’ and Chelsea are hopeful of striking a deal imminently.
Inter Milan are, similarly, hoping to wrap up their business with the Blues as soon as possible. They have tabled a fresh £25m bid for the Belgian international in hope of re-signing the ex-Manchester United star before other clubs pounce.
