Grotty used condoms posted to dozens of ex-pupils from same school in 'targeted attack'

Dozens of women who were all at the private school in the 1990s were sent handwritten letters containing used condoms, sparking a police investigation. The “disturbing” and “creepy” letters were posted to 100 women in total with 65 receiving them. One victim reported she couldn’t sleep after the vulgar delivery.

Each of the women who were targeted attended Kilbreda College private girls’ school in Melbourne Australia back in 1999, leading police to believe the incidents are linked.

Bree Walker, a recipient of the horrible letter, told the Herald Sun: “I didn’t sleep the night I received the letter, it really creeped me out.

“I found out that my friend also received a letter. I then messaged everyone from my year level and asked them if they received a letter and I found out that seven of them did.”

She explained that each of the similar notes, all handwritten, had explicit messages and “gross stuff”.

Ms Walker said she has no idea who was responsible for the letters.

Police said: “It is believed that most of those who reported the material have received multiple letters, all with the suspected used item included.

“Officers believe the victims are linked and are part of a targeted attack.”

The woman reportedly said to suspect the perpetrator found their addresses in an old school yearbook.

Ms Walker added: “We want this person to stop, it’s disgusting and it’s creepy. We don’t know what they’re gaining from it. It’s causing a lot of women to feel stressed.

The letters are being forensically tested, according to the acting detective Senior Sergeant Grant Lewis of the Bayside Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team.

People with knowledge of the incidents have been asked to come forward.
