Redfall Review: A Game Without Identity | Malditos Nerds

Graphically, the game doesn’t feel current-gen and could use more attention to detail with more visual engagement. Added to this, it has a lot of technical problems such as frame drops and that the textures take a long time to load.

In short, the biggest problem with Redfall is that it has no identity. Its open world is completely empty, the loot lacks depth, the gunplay is too simplistic. At times it takes itself too seriously. Redfall doesn’t know what it wants to be and, without a doubt, it’s a major misstep.
