Natasha Blasick gives update on Jamie Foxx’s recovery amid ‘crazy’ health scare

Jamie Foxx’s former co-star Natasha Blasick was “freaking out” about his hospitalization — until an update from a friend left her feeling “so much better.”

The actress texted one of Foxx’s close pals amid “all the news that he’s getting worse,” and the friend sent back some reassurance.

“He was like, ‘No, no, no, he’s recovering,’” Blasick told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday.

The 52-year-old noted that she and her loved ones are still “praying together” for the actor’s health.

“It’s really crazy,” Blasick said. “All we have in this world is our health. Our life. So it’s very scary.”

Foxx, 55, experienced a “medical complication” on April 11, one day after he was photographed on the “Back in Action” set with Cameron Diaz.

The singer has been in a hospital in Georgia ever since as the movie films with a body double.

“Due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” his daughter Corinne Foxx wrote via Instagram last month, refraining from sharing any further details about her dad’s condition.

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” the Oscar winner wrote Wednesday, along with praying hands, heart and fox emojis.

Jamie also thanked Nick Cannon via Instagram Stories for taking over his “Beat the Shazam” hosting duties during his recovery. (Kelly Osbourne is filling in for Corinne as DJ.)

As Cannon, Kevin Hart and Martin Lawrence have all recently insisted that the “Ray” star is on the mend, a source tells Page Six that his medical emergency “seems serious.”

The insider notes that Jamie’s loved ones are “holding things close to the vest” as he recovers.

Another source tells us that when the Golden Globe winner’s friends took to social media desperately asking for prayers earlier this week, “nothing hand changed” and Jamie “was still in the same condition.”
