Princess Charlotte, born on May 2, 2015, turns eight today and to commemorate her special day the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a new photo of the young royal. The little Princess looked cute in a white sun dress by Trotters Children’s Clothing.
Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a gorgeous snap of Princess Charlotte last night ahead of her eighth birthday, captioning the photo “Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy birthday! 8 tomorrow”.
The young royal was seen grinning at the camera wearing a sweet white dress.
This was the Confiture ‘Frances Willow’ Sun Dress from Trotters Children’s Clothing.
It looked to be a new purchase as the little Princess has not previously been spotted wearing it.

For mums, dads and grandparents who want to recreate the royal look with their little ones, it retails at a modest $89 (around £71.20).
For very little ones, the dress is also available in baby girls’ sizes.
The official website described the dress as follows: “Our best-selling willow sun dress shape is ideal for the warmer weather.
“Featuring a classic round neckline, complete with large statement willow collar, this sleeveless dress is finished comes in an all-over miniature floral print with textured plumetis detailing.

The sweet number is embroidered all over with colourful flowers, with pops of blue, pink and green.
The royal sported her long locks down over her shoulders sans hairband for a simple look. However, on the official website the children modelling the dress were seen in pretty headbands.
Charlotte looked super cute ahead of summer and royal fans took to Instagram to comment on the Princess’ sweet look.
