Bam Margera's brother claims the star has a 'meth addiction' and is on the run from police

Bam Margera is allegedly addicted to meth – as he runs from police with his girlfriend and her child, eight, according to his brother Jess Margera.

The Jack**s star’s brother took to Twitter on Wednesday to make the claims, adding that he is ‘trying to stay positive’ because he is the ‘sweetest guy.’

Jess claims that ‘since his meth habit, he’s unrecognizable,’ noting that he doesn’t ‘know what he’s capable of.’

‘Seeing him screaming @ [at] a person that wasn’t there, hallucinating. It’s really scary and heartbreaking,’ Jess said.

‘His gf has her phone, I’m obviously very worried about Bam but I’m extremely worried about that there is an 8 year old child with them. I can’t even imagine the environment in that car right now.’

‘I hope she’s okay. She is the sweetest kid, she doesn’t deserve this unnecessary trauma,’ he tweeted.

Jess also expressed his frustration at the cops at not being able to track him.

‘I mean I can talk to my lightbulbs. My car can back out of the garage and pick me at the front door. Police should be able to track a phone right? Apparently I’m the a**hole.’

Over the weekend, Pennsylvania cops launched a manhunt in Pennsylvania to find the troubled star, who allegedly assaulted Jess.

Pennsylvania State Police officials told TMZ that troopers responded to a reported disturbance at around 11 a.m. on Sunday morning near his $1.1 million Pocopson Township castle, where an alleged victim said they got into a physical altercation with the 43-year-old pro-skater and suffered minor injuries as a result.

But when police arrived on the scene, Margera had already fled into a nearby wooded area and has not yet been located.

According to a police report, Margera began to bang on his brother Jesse’s bedroom door at 8 a.m. Sunday, leaving a disturbing note in his wake.

The note read: ‘If you even f***ing think of calling the police on me I will officially f*** you up.’

Jess – best known as the drummer for the rock band CKY – said that he found the note and walk downstairs to discover Bam urinating into a kitchen sink, which led to a fight breaking out.

Bam allegedly began to beat Jess, striking him multiple times on his head, which Jesse showing multiple visible injuries.

Jess claims that after the fight, Bam continued his rage, saying: ‘I’ll kill you. I’ll put a bullet in your head.’

Bam also allegedly said he’d kill everyone else in the home, including the Margera brothers’ father Phil and two unidentified women. Bam then fled into the woods behind the house.

His friends have been allegedly urging Bam to get help after a failed intervention in San Diego earlier this month, following his recent arrest.

Despite their best efforts, Bam, who has dealt with substance abuse issues and violent behavior in recent years, reportedly ‘blew the whole thing up.’

While a source told TMZ that the actor ‘seemed receptive at first’ things went south following some logistical issues, including where his current girlfriend would live if he was receiving treatment.

The insider noted that the father-of-one’s loved ones are ‘worried about him’ and want him ‘to help get him back into rehab.’

His estranged wife Nicole Boyd was said to be involved during the intervention as she agreed to allow visitations with their son Phoenix, five, if he remained sober.

TMZ reported this ‘upset’ his girlfriend, who then ‘kicked everyone out.’

A warrant is now out for Margera’s arrest, charging him with four misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, one count of simple assault and a final court of harassment while subjecting another to physical contact.

The charges come just weeks after Margera was arrested in California for a public intoxication after he got into a shouting match with an unidentified woman at a Thai restaurant in Burbank.

In video of that confrontation filmed by the comedian Evan Breen, the former pro skateboarder could be seen going back into the restaurant and then out of it again after police had arrived.

At an officer’s request, Margera sat down on the ground in the parking lot, and although his conversation with the officer couldn’t be heard, he could be seen waving his arms about and gesticulated wildly.

The arrest may have been preceded by some kind of family drama, as Margera’s estranged wife Nikki and their son Phoenix were both in the restaurant, according to a witness on the scene.

However, police didn’t clarify if he was arguing with his ex, or if it was another woman.

The sources added that Margera would be forced to pay $500 to be released early on bail, unless he opts to stay behind bars until sobering up.

Earlier that month, Margera was also arrested on domestic violence charges after police in California responded to his home in Escondido, where a woman claimed he kicked her.

The alleged victim was not named, but she was reportedly Margera’s girlfriend, Jessica, and not his ex. It is unclear whether the she is the victim in the most recent case.

Margera was ultimately released on a $50,000 bail, though the local District Attorney said charges would not be filed against him.

In the aftermath, sources told TMZ that his estranged wife is looking into filing for legal protection against him in order to protect herself and their five-year-old son Phoenix.

She had told the site that the incident ‘was scary for me and even more scary for Phoenix,’ adding that it was a shame as ‘the visitation that Bam had with Phoenix the prior day in Hollywood went reasonably well.’

Nicole claimed her famous husband had arrived at the restaurant intoxicated and belligerent as she explained: ‘This is the umpteenth time that Bam takes one step forward and ten steps back.’

Her attorney David Glass told TMZ that they had been trying to work with Bam on setting up regular visitation for their child but it is contingent on him staying sober and treating her with respect — something they say Margera has refused to do.

Boyd had filed for divorce from Margera in February of this year after claiming that he was not sober during a visit with his son.

She has requested legal and physical custody of Phoenix, though she says Margera should still be allowed to have supervised visits with his son in the Los Angeles area.
