I'm A Celeb star Helen Flanagan lifts lid on her surgery for 'ruined' boobs ahead of show

Ahead of her appearance on the I’m A Celebrity All Stars show tonight, ex-Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has shared all about the trauma she felt when breastfeeding left her body “ruined”.

The showbiz star opted for surgery to transform her looks and has explained she feels the urge to maintain honesty, to help other women who may be in the same situation.

Helen told OK! magazine: “My boobs were ruined from breastfeeding. I had them done for me, for my confidence, and I wanted to be honest because that’s my connection with other women.”

She also divulged that she has had other cosmetic tweaks, such as Botox and filler in her top lip.

The 32-year-old added that she was puzzled by why some choose to keep their enhancements “a secret”.

However, scenes from I’m A Celebrity which are due to be screened tonight were pre-recorded last September, meaning that Helen hadn’t yet had her transformation.

“I wanted my boobs done before I went into the jungle,” the star lamented, adding that she was “gutted” when surgeons refused to give her the green light.

She revealed she was told that she had to wait six months after finishing breastfeeding and that “the surgeons didn’t care what show I was doing”.

The former Rosie Webster star will have an all-natural chest in her footage from South Africa, which marks her first time on the show since her debut appearance in 2012.

She vowed ahead of entering the jungle that her performance this time around would be much better than her initial attempt, which saw her become the fifth contestant to be voted out.

Though some were terrified to meet their worst fears, including creepy crawlies and nauseating food choices, Helen has taken the tough conditions totally in her stride.

She insisted that despite feeling scared, “Jungle life’s nothing compared to being a mum-of-three – jungle life’s a breeze!”

Earlier this month, a frazzled-looking Helen shared one of those behind-the-scenes parenting struggles as her homeward-bound flight from Dubai was delayed.

She shares seven-year-old Matilda, four-year-old Delilah and baby of the family Charlie, who is just one, with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair.

Helen narrowly avoided losing her iPads and iPhone altogether as she prepared for the flight, while her youngest threw himself to the floor screaming in one of his well-documented tantrums.

Though the star finds parenting a challenge, she’s made it clear that she “adores” all of her kids – and she’s co-parenting with Scott and even still wearing her engagement ring, despite confirming that the two are no longer together.
