Millions of people have been left stumped by a riddle which ’98 per cent of Harvard students’ get wrong but most kindergartners can solve. 

Isabella Avila, 24, took to YouTube to share what has been dubbed the ‘world’s hardest riddle’ and it left plenty of people scratching their heads. 

She claimed 98 per cent of Harvard students get it wrong while 83 per cent of kindergarten-age kids come up with the right answer.

‘If you can’t solve this you’re dumber than a kindergartner but right up there with Harvard students,’ she told her followers in the clip which has been viewed 18 million times.

In her TikTok video, Avila breaks down the riddle:   

‘I turn polar bears white, and I will make you cry. I make guys have to pee, and girls comb their hair.

‘I make celebrities look stupid and normal people look like celebrities.

‘I turn pancakes brown, and make your champagne bubble. If you squeeze me, I’ll pop. If you’ll look at me, you’ll pop.’

Avila then asks her followers: ‘Can you guess the riddle?’

‘I forgot every sentence right after she started the next sentence,’ one user joked. 

Another added: ‘I asked Chat GPT, and it said “carbon dioxide”. Huh.’ 

While a third said: ‘My mind goes straight to pressure. I think with most of the question it’s makes sense. But if it isn’t pressure then I have no clue.’

Known as the ‘I turn a polar bear white’ riddle online, a number of people were able to figure out.

‘The Answer is: “No,”‘ one user correctly said. ‘Harvard students think because they try to find something that matches it the hints but kindergarteners just give up.’

And someone else pointed out: ‘The answer is no. at the end they asked, “can you guess the riddle?” 

‘If you think about it, a kindergartener would say no to this because it sound very complicated but a Harvard student would most likely try to answer “logically”.’

Avila was quick to congratulate those who got the correct answer in the comments and said: ‘Congratulations YouTube, most of you got the answer faster than TikTok and Instagram. Bravo.’
