Donald Trump indictment LIVE: Former president set to plead not guilty in New York

Donald Trump took a swing at Attorney General Alvin Bragg hours before he is due to turn himself in to a Manhattan Court.

The former president raged at a report claiming he will be charged with 34 felonies.

Details of the charges are due to be released only after he has surrendered himself.

Writing on Facebook, Trump said: “Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic indictment against me.

“I know the reporter and so, unfortunately, does he. This means he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED. Now, if he wants to really clean up his reputation, he will do the honourable thing and, as District Attorney, INDICT HIMSELF.

“He will go down in judicial history, and his Trump-Hating wife will be, I am sure, very proud of him.”
