Brooke Shields strikes a pose in an eye-catching wrap dress blazer at Pretty Baby premiere

Brooke Shields made a show-stopping arrival at the premiere of her two-part Hulu documentary Pretty Baby at Alice Tully Hall in New York City on Wednesday night.

The actress, 57, was joined on the red carpet by her longtime husband Chris Henchy, 59, and their youngest daughter Grier, 16.

She was also supported by myriad of famous pals including Mariska Hargitay and Debra Messing.

Brooke wowed in a unique black blazer with purple, pink and red striped fabric criss-crossed in the front creating a dress-like silhouette that flowed to the floor.

For an edgy touch, the Blue Lagoon actress slipped on a pair of black vinyl pants that hugged her enviably toned legs.

She stood on sky-high baby pink heels and carried a sparkly black clutch in hand.

Brooke’s flowing brunette hair cascaded down her back and chest in glamorous curls.

She posed for several shots in front of the Pretty Baby promo poster which shows present day Brooke staring at the profile of her younger self.

Pretty Baby explores Brooke’s decades-long Hollywood career as she recalls being sexualized as a young girl as well as the complicated relationship she had with her late mother Teri Shields.

Despite the trauma, Brooke shows her incredible strength, resilience and devotion to protecting her own daughters from exploitation as she finds her voice in adulthood.

The film is directed by Lana Wilson, who helmed Taylor Swift’s 2020 documentary Miss Americana, and features commentary by a number of stars and pop culture reporters, including Brooke’s longtime friend and fellow actress Laura Linney. 

Pretty Baby will premiere in two-parts on Hulu starting Monday, April 3.

Though Brooke is a pro at handling photographers alone, she looked happiest with her daughter Grier by her side during Wednesday’s big red carpet premiere

The young girl looked chic in a cherry red suit styled with black pumps.

Her auburn hair was tied back in a sleek ponytail and she accessorized with gold jewelry.

The mother-daughter duo wrapped their arms around one another for their time in front of the cameras.

Brooke’s husband Chris joined in for a few shots while rocking an understated beige suit and a dress shirt.

Missing from the action was the couple’s eldest daughter Rowan, 19. 

Brooke was captured sharing a warm embrace with Mariska Hargitay as they reunited on the red carpet ahead of the screening.

The Law And Order: SVU star, 59, looked sharp in a stylish pastel yellow sweater tucked into matching pants with a sparkly sequin lining.

She posed with a braided black leather bag in hand and she paraded around the venue in nude suede heels.

Debra Messing stunned in a plunging black zip-front dress styled with black flats with gold studs.

Brooke and Mariska were later joined by actress Ali Wentworth, who is the wife of ABC journalist George Stephanopoulos.

Wentworth and Stephanopoulos produced the project, which is the first under their new production company BedBy8.

Ali rocked a classic black blazer and trousers that made her head of voluminous blonde hair standout.

After getting in some photos with Brooke and Mariska, she cozied up to her longtime spouse George.

George looked as well-dressed as ever in a black suit with a lavender dress shirt and maroon polkadot tie. 

Legendary supermodel Paulina Porizkova got gussied up for the evening to show her support for Brooke at Wednesday’s premiere in New York.

The catwalk queen rocked a glossy cherry red pout and a ruched zebra-print top that highlighted her svelte physique.

She layered up with a black leather jacket and tossed her lengthy tresses to one side.

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts posed up in an eye-catching pink ombre suit worn with fun pink leather Valentine heels.

Former Hilary Clinton aide Huma Abedin turned heads in a plunging cream bodysuit styled with a matching loose fitting blazer and trendy wide-legged trousers.

ABC journalists Deborah Roberts and Juju Chang stood out in vibrant, patterned dresses as they braved the red carpet together.

Alyssa Mastromonaco, who served as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff under the Obama administration from 2011 to 2014, was spotted posing for a selfie with Deborah, George and Ali ahead of the film screening.

In the first trailer for Pretty Baby, Brooke got emotional while looking back on her childhood exploitation. 

Shields narrates that the ‘entirety’ of her life she was bombarded by people calling her a ‘pretty’ face ‘over and over again.’ 

‘And, that always, seared me,’ she confesses.

The actress was just 11 when she was forced to seductively kiss Keith Carradine, then 27, in 1978 film Pretty Baby in which she played a prostitute. 

At 14, when other girls were still decorating their pencil cases, she had become the youngest model ever to make the cover of Vogue.

That same year, she began filming the leering teen romance Blue Lagoon — in which her character frequently stripped off and had sex with her fellow shipwrecked sweetheart (played by Christopher Atkins, then 18).

A body-double stood in for her sex scenes but, Shields says, the film-makers encouraged her to pursue a real romance with Atkins off-screen.

There was more sex and nudity for her the following year in Franco Zeffirelli’s romantic drama Endless Love, about two high-school sweethearts who are forbidden to see each other.

And at 15, she appeared — writhing around in figure-hugging denim — in the provocative adverts for Calvin Klein Jeans, which featured the suggestive tagline: ‘You want to know what comes between me and my Calvin’s? Nothing.’

The films and that ad campaign helped propel her to international stardom.

Known around the world simply as ‘Brooke’, she became the party-girl mascot of New York’s debauched nightclub Studio 54. With those iconic thick eyebrows and long lustrous hair that made her look older than her years, she was the teenager a top agent once described as ‘so beautiful that strong men forget to flick their cigar ash’.

In the documentary, the actress reveals she was raped in her early 20s in a hotel room by an unnamed man in the film industry.

She had met him to discuss possible film projects following her graduation from the prestigious Princeton University in 1987.

After dinner, the man — whom she says was a friend — invited her to call a taxi from his hotel room, which he then left. But in a sordid echo of the convicted rapist producer Harvey Weinstein, Shields says her ‘friend’ later returned naked and suddenly attacked her.

‘He was right on me. It was just like wrestling,’ she adds.

Shields says she ‘froze’ and didn’t fight back for fear of being killed: ‘God knows I knew how to be disassociated from my body. I’d practiced that.’

She claims she left the hotel after the attack, got in a taxi and ‘cried all the way’ to the apartment of another friend.

For years, Shields says she refused to accept what had happened to her: ‘I drank wine at dinner. I went up to the room. I just was so trusting…’ Of her meteoric rise to fame at such a young age.

She also reflects on her two-year marriage to tennis star Andre Agassi. The pair’s split was credited to their conflicting work schedules as well as claims that Andre was deeply possessive of Brooke.

She claimed in the doc that her ex-husband got so furious at her flirtatious cameo in a 1995 episode of Friends — in which she licked Matt LeBlanc’s fingers — that he stormed off set, drove home and smashed his Wimbledon trophy.
